For me, the most important thing has always been to honor Zade.

In the beginning, I wasn’t sure how to do that. But somehow, I figured it out. It started with a simple ritual—lighting a candle every night. It blossomed into a magical toy drive that brought joy to so many. And now, Zade’s memory has found a permanent place in the world, memorialized in a beautiful bench overlooking the Bow River in Banff, a place that we hold very dear in our hearts. A place we connect with Zade the most.

To me, this is the definition of ‘Just keep swimming’.

This bench is more than just a seat. It’s a mark on this earth, a bold statement of love, and a serene escape. It is my hope that for others, it becomes a place where they too can find joy, peace, intention, and reflection—a space to pause and reset.
