Our life was recently rocked in an unimaginable way, a stillbirth.

So now I’d consider myself lost, unsure of what life has in store, yearning to find a new normal and to just figure out what’s next.

The word that seems to pop up in my head the most lately is Pivot. When you’re expecting to bring your Son home, but you don’t, you quickly learn that you need to pivot your life. Change course. Shift gears. Carve out a new path.

At the same time, I can’t help but think of that Friends episode with Ross screaming “PIVOT, PIVOT, PIVOT” and that at least makes me smile haha

Perfect example that grief and joy can coexist.
